“Helios”- NHRF’s institutional repository

Share |
"Helios" contains a significant portion of past scientific output of NHRF. It has been digitized and is available in the internet for the first time. Research papers, publications, conference proceedings, books, educational material, sound and video files are available in an organized environment according to international standards. The user can browse or search the collection, a good portion of which is available in full text. The institutional repository provides systematic collection, organization, preservation of and access to the scientific output of NHRF, as well as to the special educational events that the institution organizes.

Today (January 2010) "Helios" contains 4.000 records, more than 1.000 of which are full text publications. More records are continually added to the repository, while it is expected that after settling intellectual property issues, most of them will become available in full text.

Roughly 50% of back record files are already in the system, while the self-archiving service will soon be activated. This will allow researchers to submit their work to the repository by themselves. "Helios" is an infrastructure that operates according to international standards and provides high quality services.
