OAI Service Providers
JISC Collections is a digital catalogue of online resources supported by the Joint Information System Committee (JISC).
It is a pilot search service for the Canadian Association Research Libraries (CARL) Institutional Repositories. It is a common point of access for all users that wish to search scholarly material from each of the participating Canadian repositories.
It is an experimental service that harvests OAI-PMH compliant repositories and makes them accessible through a unified search interface. It has been developed by the Old Dominion University Library Research Group.
OAIster is a union catalogue of digital resources such as: digitized books and articles, born-digital texts, audio files, images, movies and datasets. It provides access to these digital resources by "harvesting" their descriptive metadata using OAI-PMH.
Citebase is a semi-autonomous citation index for free, online research-based literature. Citebase contains articles from physics, mathematics, information science, and (already published) biomedical papers.
